To succeed in life, we have to stop thinking in terms of limitations and start thinking in terms of possibilities.. However, there was a time when I did not even know my purpose in life, forget about the possibilities. Starting from the counseling itself (that was provided the 1st time I entered the institute), MBAGuru helped me know my purpose, which ultimately helped me understand my goals.
And all this could be made possible only because MBAGuru believed in my potential and caliber that I can crack CAT even when I thought I didn’t have too much time to prepare.
The sole reason for joining MBAGuru was the kind of personalized attention provided to me from the 1st day onwards. The classes were condensed and structured to provide strong fundamentals. I would like to thank Deekshant sir, Ashu sir, Garima Ma’am and Sharad sir for that. Also I'd like to thank Priyanka and Shweta ma’am for working things around my difficult schedule. All AIRCATs gave me an excellent preparation ground for the actual CAT. They were conducted timely, were huge source of motivation and an important part of the preparation. The timely advice/guidance in the beginning to not see the scores as a reflection of our final chances of success and that self-belief is the single most important factor in order to that actually made sense afterall. The AIRCATs as well as YOUnique Tests, Exceeds and everything else that formed the basis of my preparation were meant to enhance my chances of success through learning and understanding the strategy. The bottomline was – not to give up.
The online system, MTS, interface was exactly like the one proposed for CAT. That gave me an even better simulation for the actual CAT-09.
After clearing the written, the scope of preparation is huge and can be intimidating at times for people who have just begun. However, MBAGuru experts always recommended that all those who were in fray for CAT-09 and other MBA entrance exams should not wait till January for beginning their GDPI preparation, and hence, it wasn’t that intimidating for me at all. I would like to make a special mention to Abhishek sir, who was a great source of inspiration, knowledge, and help at a time when I was quite lost as to where to begin with. He guided me throughout the process, helping me at the right time, and helped me in realizing my strengths.
In the end, I would like to mention something that I strongly believe in:
“There is always a hope and an end. It depends on you how you deal with them. You can look at it as a hopeless end, or an endless hope.” And MBAGuru made me look at it as an endless hope.

As the famous saying goes ‘Well begun is half done’, I too believe that if you are looking forward to a great future; make sure to have a good start. I believe I made a good start by choosing MBAguru to help me achieve my goal of getting into an IIM. To put it in simple and specific words, MBAguru helped me channelize my energies in the right direction.
I can vividly recall the evening I had walked in with my parents at NCC around 2 years back. I was looking for a tailor made course for myself because I used to visit Delhi for short periods as I lived on-campus. Most institutes offered courses with a structure that had little flexibility; however, MBAguru promised me much greater flexibility in the routines. They restructured the course so as to suit my requirement, and promised me regular help over email and phone. I was particularly impressed by their small batch sizes as this gave individual attention to all students. Furthermore, the study material, classroom exercises and general awareness sessions were extremely helpful.
All the teachers, staff, and mentors were totally dedicated to the task. I can firmly say that they worked as hard as I did. I want to make a special mention to Abhishek Lal Sharma sir. I highly appreciate the unconditional support and encouragement given to me by him. It was his efforts, in particular, that helped me perform upto my potential in the final GD/PI’s. He has been exceptional.
In the end, my advice to future MBA aspirants would be to look for the ‘right guidance’, and make a good and intelligent start; however, I wish to emphasize that a person’s individual effort is of utmost importance.
