10 Days to CAT-20

best online cat preparation course
  1. Make sure you check your exam slot and adjust your sleep-cycle accordingly. If you usually get up at 10 am and rise at 6 on the day of CAT, you would find yourself sleep deprived during the exam. Vice-versa for students who have exam in the afternoon slot.

  2. Go for jogging or brisk walking in a park in the evenings (on days when pollution is low) or do some light exercise indoors in gym or at home. It releases cortisol and relieves stress. (PS – online games, gossiping, whatsapp chats, sedentary games like ludo and metro travel are not sports).

  3. Watch motivational movies once every alternate day. Make sure you keep yourself positive. More than anything CAT is a test of nerves. I will post more movies, but for starters I would suggest – Rudy, Remember the Titans, 300 (my all-time favourite), Forrest Gump, Pursuit of Happiness, Life is beautiful, It’s a beautiful Life, Secret Superstar, Udaan.

  4. Do continue reading a newspaper (The Hindu) and any novels, because there is no substitute to these in VA, which usually accounts for 34% of your CAT preparation.

  5. Don’t learn a new concept. Rather revise what you have learnt in past months and consolidate that.

Baaki aap sab log rockstar ho!! Never forget that!!

The author, Lokesh Sharma, is a serial 99%iler in the VRC Section of CAT and other major MBA entrance examinations. The Legend of Logic (and the source of many a LoL in his sessions) is a master of CR and one of the most practical English mentors you could ever hope to find on your journey to a fine B-School. And talking about journeys, his ability to manage shoe-sole stripping trips on a shoe-string budget is logic-defying. For his ability and experience, being anything under overconfident would infact be being underconfident.
