I am a late riser but I got up at 4.30 AM today. I am more likely to sleep at that time than to get up. (My personal CAT Prep journey honestly isn’t an example worth emulating!)
But I chose to convert this rare occurrence of getting up early into something more useful.
I replied to dozens of pending mails and telegram messages from students, took a long morning walk. And I also started another audio book while at it.
And I was surprised that I even got a few immediate replies from students and by 6.30 AM. So the day felt pretty good already.
If I were living my life doing something I didn’t like to do, the chance early ‘awakening’ would have caused me to be grumpy and worried. But it didn’t.
I know of quite a few mentors in our team, who are up replying to mails/messages at 2 AM.
And some who are ever-present on the Telegram groups, answering all your queries and pushing you to your best.
Yet others, who are busy filtering and improving questions for your next session, adding that one little extra hook to help you gain from it.
The bottomline is that we really enjoy doing what we do! Helping you in your CAT Prep journey. And we LOVE it! Why?
The journey is yours. The success will be yours too. The ability is yours. The hardwork is yours. The ordinary is yours, and the extra lies within you.
Then why are WE so excited? And why do WE act like kids?
Because we do it and we love it. And we get a kick out of seeing you get better beyond your beliefs. Because we love helping you discover the “extra” in your “ordinary”. It is thrilling, it is exciting, it is meaningful.
Because it makes our day. And this day has just begun 🙂
About the author:Deekshant has sleep-walked through several 100 and 99.9 %iles in practically every section of the CAT. That he is a cricket fan and he writes okay is evident from most of his posts. 1000s of our students swear that he can motivate almost anyone to double his/her percentile through very simple yet powerful inputs. And that’s why every MBAGuru student has direct access to him via mail and Telegram. Oddly, he somehow also finds the time to write songs professionally. And yes … almost missed this … he is an alumnus of IIT Delhi & IIM Cal
