My decision to join MBAGuru wasn’t tough, as I, one day on recommendation of a friend straightaway walked to the CP center to inquire. Since that day till today, I have thanked myself to have joined this place. It’s undoubtedly the best place one can be for the MBA entrance exams prep.
Some insights.
1) MBAGuru has what they call ADAPTIVE prep. It’s a way to customize one’s prep according to one’s abilities. For instance, one who is not so good at Math will start with ADAPTIVE classes before starting the main classes. This helps build one’s basics.
2) Duration of classes is 3 hrs, 1.5 hrs for concept teaching, later 1.5 for questions practice from the class sheets. I personally find this structure very helpful as (a). it builds sitting habit, (b). it strengthens the understanding of the concept right there in the class.
3) One can schedule a personal session with mentor online/ offline anytime they want.
4) Meantime they divide the students into three different batches based on their SWOT scores and conduct extra online sessions. It involves teaching some extra tricks, concepts that can make solving efficient and quick. This provides an extra edge to your prep along with the regular classes.
5) One major thing I liked which I also feel is the most powerful part of the coaching are the workshops they conduct before 2–3 months to CAT (i.e. Sept – Nov). It includes revision classes, advance concepts, workshop tests. This is the most beneficial to any student. It ensures that your prep becomes concrete.
6) At last – Faculty. I don’t know I have ever been so influenced by a set of people in one place before. You’ll feel connected to them from your heart. Vaibhav Sir, Rohit Sir, Sumesh Sir, Dhrubajyoti Sir (they were my faculties according to my batch). They have inspired me to become a better version of myself, which I am today. I admire them all.
7) Currently, I am preparing for the GDPI process. And the MBAGuru sessions are very helpful. One to one sessions with faculty members have opened me up towards a better perspective about myself and the world. They have provided me the insight which has helped me deliver better performance. They are there till one gets an admission or maybe, even after that.
To conclude, I would say, MBAGuru has a very disciplined structure and curriculum. They prepare you to the best for every MBA exam, provided you do your part. Not a day has gone by where I haven’t learnt anything new. The entire experience has made me a more confident, smart, clearheaded individual.
