Months and months of your CAT Preparation comes to a climax tomorrow! As you revel in the anticipation of the exam you have prepared so well for (even if you think otherwise at times), and overcome an occasional bout of anxiety (which is natural and in fact good as it will help you stay alert), all of us at Team MBAGuru wish you the very best of luck for the small little things that may not be under your control. For everything else, we believe that you possess enough ability backed by an intensive CAT preparation to make it your day!
Watch something funny and/or inspirational today. And try and sleep on time. It’s ok if you can’t – I managed to crack the CAT despite being up all night writing a song. So, you will be just fine!
Be positive, confident and relaxed tomorrow – you are better prepared than most others. Do not be in a rush just because others appear to be.
Pray, meditate or just put your head down and hum (inaudibly if you are as bad as me at singing) once you reach the venue of your test. Smile at those you meet – it will help you feel more confident and help others too.
And once you hit the start test button – just let it flow. Even if the test is easy or difficult, it is relative and you don’t know how others are doing. So, you should just focus on giving it your best till the time runs out. Do not think about the result – focus on getting maximum questions right, as you have been doing in all tests since your nursery class.
Finally, believe in yourself and remember that CAT is just another exam you will face in your life – you are tougher and better prepared for the bigger ones having prepared for CAT.
Once again, best wishes on behalf of all of us @TeamMBAGuru!
Go, rock it!
About the author: Deekshant has sleep-walked through several 100 and 99.9 %iles in practically every section of the CAT. That he is a cricket fan and he writes okay is evident from most of his posts. 1000s of our students swear that he can motivate almost anyone to double his/her percentile through very simple yet powerful inputs. And that’s why every MBAGuru student has direct access to him via mail and Telegram. Oddly, he somehow also finds the time to write songs professionally. And yes … almost missed this … he is an alumnus of IIT Delhi & IIM Cal
