Nothing gets the message home better than stories do. Stories of belief, determination, and beating the odds. Stories that show that dreams do come true. Stories that are not limited to the CAT Prep journey, but traverse well beyond. Stories that transcend time. The stories that inspire us and motivate us not to stop. Nothing I can say logically can perhaps be more meaningful to you than some of these stories, which should tell you that what can happen should not be limited by what has happened so far. Or that the limits that you put on yourself are the only limits for you.
A remarkable CAT Prep tale of determination & self-belief
An evening turned special a few years ago when I got the following mail from Manaswi.
While he was humble enough to give us a lot of credit, pause for a moment and think about the belief he would have had to muster after a 66%ile at a previous CAT. On the other hand, many others with even better percentiles, would not have imagined or believed they stood any chance of making it to a Top-10 B-School. As we always say at MBAGuru, we just provide an ADAPTIVE platform for our students to improve and to try and ensure the best CAT Prep experience for them, but it is ultimately your effort and belief that paves the way for your (and in turn our) success. His strong belief in himself, and us, even when we were not as well-known as we are now, shows why people who do not follow the herd mentality and see what’s best for them always succeed.

The 66%ile at a previous CAT did not stop him, the negative score in DILR at that CAT did not stop him, having average past academics did not stop him, and being a male engineering student did not stop him – so many myths busted, by one Manaswi, who just didn’t stop believing in or working for his dream!
