Over the next few months, I will share some stories with you. Stories of belief, determination, and beating the odds. Stories of not stopping. Stories of inspiration. Nothing I can say logically can perhaps be more meaningful for you than some of these stories which should tell you that what can happen should not be limited by what has happened so far. Or that the only limits for you are the ones you put on yourself.
Yesterday evening turned special when I got the following mail from Manaswi.
While he has been humble enough to give a lot of credit to us, pause for a moment and think about the belief he would have had to muster after a 66%ile at CAT-2017! Many others, at even better %iles, would not have imagined or believed they stood any chance of making it to a Top-10 B-School. As we always say at MBAGuru, we just provide an ADAPTIVE platform for our students to improve with the help of the best mentors there can be for CAT, but it is ultimately your effort and belief that paves the way for your (and in turn our) success. That he believed in himself, and us, even when we were not as well known as we are now, shows why people who succeed do not follow the herd mentality and see what’s best for them.
The 66%ile at CAT-17 did not stop him, the negative score in DILR at CAT-17 did not stop him, having average past academics did not stop him, and being a male engineering student did not stop him – so many myths busted, by one Manaswi who just didn’t stop believing in or working for his dream!
This is his story – you could script yours. We would be happy to help and see you write it 🙂
MBAGuru students (past or present) can telegram(message) me directly at https://t.me/DeekshantSahrawat in response to the above write-up or for any other thing I can help them out with. Please do mention your Batch Code and please be patient – while I may struggle to respond quickly at times, chances are I will get back to you sooner than later.
