300 Days to CAT-24 – Build Your CAT Prep Innings!

best coaching for cat

February beginning is a good time to review, recommit and restart. It is a good checkpoint for your CAT Prep. So, it is the perfect time for you to take a good, hard look at the status and progress of your CAT preparation.

CAT-24 is almost 300 days away now. 300 days could be a lot of time or well, but it could be seen as only 300 days as well! It all depends on how well you/we use them. A small improvement on each of these 300 days would see you extremely well prepared for CAT-24.

Last year’s 50-over Cricket World Cup makes me think that 300 days of CAT coaching is similar to 300 balls of an innings in an ODI Cricket Match. So, it will come with its ebbs and flows; its power plays and periods of consolidation. But if you are hungry, patient and persistent, it will result in something truly fantastic.

Remember that this is as much a test of your temperament and persistence, as it is of your skill and ability. As long as you are in the game, and take it deep, you will have a good chance. You have to try and ensure a solid start. At the same time you have to keep enough fuel in the tank to really get going towards the end.

So, build your innings wisely – there will be a few dot balls, a few wickets (setbacks). But keep the singles ticking, keep scoring that occasional boundary, ensure that you make each ball (day) count for something!

It is also a good time for us at MBAGuru to make a renewed start and commit. We will strive to make the next 300 days the most exciting, productive, enjoyable and life-changing experience for the 1000s of students who have trusted us for their CAT prep. Let’s stack up a big score in this CAT-2024 innings!

About the author: Deekshant has sleep-walked through several 100 and 99.9 %iles in practically every section of the CAT. That he is a cricket fan and he writes okay is evident from most of his posts. 1000s of our students swear that he can motivate almost anyone to double his/her percentile through very simple yet powerful inputs. And that’s why every MBAGuru student has direct access to him via mail and Telegram. Oddly, he somehow also finds the time to write songs professionally. And yes … almost missed this … he is an alumnus of IIT Delhi & IIM Cal 🙂
