What’s in your top-2?

Here’s one exercise I do every year, and it has been super-effective for me. So, I encourage you to think about giving it a shot. And it doesn’t need a gym, incase you are worried about the lockdown 🙂

Try & list down ALL the things you want to do over a finite period – say the next 1 year. Feel free to write down everything, however big or small it maybe. From learning to play the guitar to heading the cultural festival in your college, from writing a book to having your own youtube channel with enormous number of followers. Write down everything that you want to achieve over a defined, finite period of time.

Now re-list the items in decreasing order of priority, the most important one at the top and so on. Now put down the number of hours you are investing on a daily basis in the top-2 things on your list.

For you to have a great chance to achieve these 2 things, anywhere over 80% of your time should be invested across these 2 Top things.

Now, is making it to a top MBA college (B-School) one of the top-2 things you want to do over the next 1 year? Are you investing enough time in it – every single day? Or are you just sitting and worrying about it using this situation as an excuse to delay your prep or put it on hold?
